4 c Uncooked Long-Grain Rice 2 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. Onion Soup 1 tb Parsley Flakes 1 ts Salt
Combine ingredients in a large bowl. Stir until evenly distributed. Put about 1 1/3 cups mixture each into three 1-pint containers. Label. Store in a cool, dry place4. Use within 6 to 8 months. Makes about 4 cups of ONION-FLAVORED RICE MIX. RECIPE FOR ONION-FLAVORED RICE 1 1/3 Cups ONION-FLAVORED RICE MIX 2 Cups of Cold Water 1 Tbs. Butter or Margarine Combine ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Cover, reduce heat and cook 15 minutes, until liquid is absorbed. Makes 4 to 6.
